The Grand Canyon

On our trip back from Louisiana we stopped at the Grand Canyon. If you've never been, you HAVE to go. It's so unbelievably gorgeous. All you can do is just marvel at the hand of God.

Family Visit

Last month, Gene's mom had a terrible accident from which she did not recover. She eventually passed away on Easter morning. But we all took a road trip out to Louisiana in the hopes that she would wake up. Although the reason for the trip was sad, it was so nice to see family. It had been a really long time.
